This is a lovely 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath Rocky Ridge vacation rental townhome with breathtaking views of the lake. View of the east shore, south shore and west shore! There is no better place to relax than this end-unit condo. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a mini bar between the living and dining rooms and an office/family room. The unit has Wifi. The development is close to all that Tahoe City has to offer. Rocky Ridge is a gated community of 60 acres surrounded by State Forest Land, where you can enjoy nature on one of the many hiking or mountain biking trails just steps away. Amenities include 2 swimming pools, 2 spas, tennis, basketball, playground, Bocce Ball court and a private beach with pier, buoys, BBQ facilities, clubhouse and volleyball court. Every vacation condo rental offers vaulted mountain-style ceilings, beautiful rock fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens, all set in an open two-story floor plan.

All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans.

  The great advantage of staying at Rocky Ridge is the snow removal crew. A path is cleared to the condo's front door by about 7 in the morning. The snow plow keeps the main roads and parking lots accessible even during 6 foot snow events. Our friends in private homes sometimes wait up to a day to get plowed out. This is our fourth year ay Rocky Ridge.

  This rental is perfect in all respects except it's lacking of fans. Two 12-inch fans are available but inadequate (and one was so noisy we deferred using). There are no ceiling fans. We left a day early because it was so hot.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rocky Ridge #48! The condo has a great floor plan, was very clean and well appointed, and the view is spectacular! We loved sitting out on the spacious deck. This was our third stay here and we look forward to going back!
  
  The only suggestion I have is to have someone check the propane on the BBQ. This is the second time we arrived to an empty tank. We did take it to be refilled at the hardware store.

  We had a wonderful 10 day stay at this perfectly located condo. The 180 degree view of Tahoe from the front row location atop the ridge is awesome, watching the alpenglow on clear days and storms sweeping across the lake during weather. Plus, close in to Tahoe City, perfectly located for skiing at Palisades Tahoe (Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows), Northstar and Homewood. Comfortably and fully furnished with all you need for a cozy stay. The condo association keeps the road up plowed multiple times a day during heavy snow, as well as plowing the parking and snow blowing the walkways for nearly shovel-free winter vacations. Highly recommend.

  The only negative was that there were beach towels put in the dryer but the dryer was not started. We always have stayed at Rocky Ridge for our vacation and have never been disappointed. Only thing I could say to add would be a boat rental!
