It was another great stay at #28. You can’t beat Rocky Ridge’s location and amenities and of course the view. The fridge/freezer were need to be replaced however as it could not stay cool despite having very prompt service by the agent when we called. Our family, of all generations, enjoyed the large private beach, pavilion, dock pools and courts.

  • Manager Responded on 8/29/2026

Thank you for returning to #28! We're thrilled your family enjoyed the beautiful views and Rocky Ridge amenities. We sincerely apologize for the refrigerator trouble during your stay, but we are glad our agent could provide prompt service when you called. We appreciate your feedback and wanted to let you know we have since purchased and installed a brand-new fridge in the unit! We hope to welcome you back for another great stay in Tahoe soon.

We had a wonderful time at Rocky Ridge #28. Clean and modern. The rental process was seamless. Tremendous views. Amenities on the property (including a private beach) made for a satisfying stay. Close to Tahoe City, and its restaurants and stores, but far enough off the main rode that it felt secluded. Easy access to all Tahoe has to offer. We loved it.

a guest from Sunnyvale, CA recommends this vacation rental

Beautiful view of Lake Tahoe from the living room and 1 bedroom. You can see Heavenly in the distance across the lake and the northern parts of lake, plus lots of trees. If you like views, I'd recommend this property. Property description is accurate. It's an older property, but was clean and well-maintained.

Went during the winter. 1 of the 2 hot tub/pool areas were open. We had to walk up the street few minutes to visit. Didn't have time to checkout the private beach access.

Kitchen was stocked and had all supplies we needed. Lighting was dim and the orange/amber color which I preferred. This worked well for me since I don't like the bright white lights. No garage parking, but plenty of outdoor parking right in front of the property. Master bedroom + bath is on the same level as kitchen and entrance. Bathroom shower is dated, but functioned fine. 2 additional bedrooms downstairs were much warmer than rest of house.

Property manager was helpful when I called to book. No issues. You can text with them during your stay. Some responses were delayed towards the end, but nothing urgent needed.

Read all property warnings about bears. You'll need to keep all food locked up inside in the fridge. Keep food items minimal in pantry and in the open to deter bears. We stayed 3 nights and had no issues with bears.

Whoever named this Condo “Eagles Nest” did so appropriately! Tucked away under the trees surrounded by lush gardens and full amenities you will never want to leave the grounds. This property perched high up on a hill above the lake gives you 180 degree views of the water and the surrounding areas below. Condo is appointed with everything you need and is very clean and immediately feels like home. Hiking paths can be accessed from several locations, as can pools, spas and a private beach. You can walk to town and travel to other Tahoe locations is easily managed. Being a gated community means minimal traffic and roads become walking paths. We have stayed all over the area for the last 40 years but have decided this is a gem property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views, clean unit, and responsive management. Thank you very much for the quick response to the water heater not working. Two very minor other notes - the lighting in the cabin is dark despite the many lamps and the downstairs faucet leaked/dripped. But overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

When driving on to the property we were struck with awe over the million dollar views from every vantage point. We have owned a home in the near vicinity and have vacationed in the same area for 40 years, but Rocky Ridge was a new over the top experience. The layout, the gardens, the amenities and the location are exquisite. Our rental was immaculate and well appointed. The Townhouse provided us with more than we could ever need. Having our own pool, spa, beach and hiking trails allowed us to get out and really enjoy the area without dealing with the crowds. We will never stay anywhere again! Finally, the booking process was a breeze and the property management staff are impeccable and professional, and clearly love what they do and love their community and their guests! Thank You!

My family had a nice stay at condo #28. Great location and it was nice to have a private beach access. The pool in the photo was closed, but another pool next to the playground was open. It was only a 3 minute walk from the condo.
A slight inconvenience happened— The properties front and back decks were being stained during the week of our stay, so it made the outside slippery and the stain got on the bottom of our shoes. The painters were nice and put some mats and cardboard down for my family to walk on, so a solution was found immediately.
Overall, we were satisfied with the property and would stay again.
