Lake Forest Glen #55 - Sunny Stay

This remodeled rental unit is great for entertaining, the open downstairs floor plan allows light to flood the condo all year long.  The condo has a fully equipped kitchen, linens and towels and a washer/dryer. There is a nice dining area, a flat screen in the living area and a gas fireplace. There is one full bathroom downstairs.  There are three bedrooms on the top floor a master with a Cal King Bed, the first guest room has a Cal King as well and the second guest room will have 2 pine log bunk beds. Propane, 3 burner BBQ on the deck. Wireless Internet. Located on Lake Tahoe's North Shore, Lake Forest Glen Condominiums are set in a lovely meadow between the highway and the lake. It is an easy walk to Skylandia Park Beach, Bristlecone Beach and many others on the shores of Lake Tahoe. This development features two pools, a sauna, hot tub (for year-round use), tennis courts, pickleball and a children's play area. (Amenities availability unknown for 2021). Each unit has two reserved parking spots and there is plenty of extra parking in two overflow parking lots located conveniently on the property. The complex is close to Tahoe City, and ski areas including Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley USA, Northstar and Homewood Mountain. The Coast Guard boat launch is just around the corner for our summer guests. Plus there is convenient access to great biking and walking trails, both on and off-road. In the winter, drive up the street to the Tahoe Cross Country XC Center. Easy short drive to Tahoe City with great restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans.

  We were looking for a house for 4 of us, close to Diamond Peak and Northstar - and this house turned up just in time!
  
  Overall great experience. Showers were fantastic - both power and heat. Automatic night lights made things safe. We didn't have to touch the heater or temperature controls - despite it being bitterly cold outside, temp inside the condo was just perfect. Entertainment systems were all that you'd want with most streaming options etc. Both bedrooms with normal beds were excellent - roomy, firm beds, and lots of drawers, closet space, etc.
  
  Hot tub on property, despite the cold is excellent - met some very friendly people via that. The community in the complex seems very nice.
  
  It's 20/25 min to DiamondPeak/Northstar and 10 min to Palisades, Alpine, etc. So perfect from a proximity standpoint to some great ski resorts.
  
  It snowed a lot and complex cleaned out the snow for drivability to leave complex.
  
  Some minor issues:
  - top bunk beds are hard to get in and out of for tall people (my teenager is 6 ft+)
  - gas stove- most wouldn't light - needed a lighter to light
  - responsiveness from management - I needed help on the last day due to lot of snow and us being stuck and although I called a few times, and left urgent messages, I didn't get a call back - but arguably it's not their responsibility - however it'd have been a nice gesture if they had

  This property is wonderful, it is tucked off the main highway, so you don't have that traffic noise, but still close to everything. The house was spotless, the rooms were nice and the beds were comfy. There is only 1 bathroom upstairs, so there is a lot of sharing going on between the 3 bedrooms, especially at night, bu it was doable. Loved having the washer/dryer downstairs buy the kitchen. It's location is perfect, easy access to town and all the that it has to offer. Literally 3 to 4minutes to the Lake, Safeway, CVS, the best little coffee shops (Sugar Pine Cakery & The Connection) and all the restaurants and shops. Luckily we brought our fans as it was warm and there is no air-conditioning. All & All we loved our time in this condo and will definitely book here again.

  We really enjoyed our stay, with the exception of the noise. The tenant across the way in unit 51 blasts tv/radio at all hours at a very high volume. We did call security which was of no help. So my son and daughter could not have there windows open in the two front bedrooms. Second there is no enforcement of a 10:00 pm quit curfew and there were several others renting units 164 where they were having a party night after night. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and the unit was nice and clean.

    Unfortunatly there is an elderly woman that lives in that unit and can not hear well... You can not hear it from inside when you are sleeping.
