Cherne's Classic Dollar Point Lakeview

This Dollar Point vacation rental is a 3000 sq. ft. home that features five bedrooms and three bathrooms and will accommodate up to 12 people comfortably. The sunny great room and dining area open onto a large private deck that has recently been upgraded to have ample room for the entire family. There is a wet bar in the living room next to the massive rock wall with gas fireplace. The kitchen is open to the dining area and is fully equipped for all of your cooking needs. Downstairs is an area that has been converted next to the garage as an additional room/den that has a foosball table, Queen bed and TV area. On the main level, you will find the master bedroom just off the entry, which has a King size bed its own TV and a bathroom. Down the hall are two guest bedrooms, one with a Queen size bed and the other room with two Twins. Upstairs there is an open loft with a full-size pool table. There are also two bedrooms on this level one has a Queen size bed and the other is a “bunk” type room with two Twin beds and a Queen bed. The bedrooms on this floor share a common bathroom. Wireless internet is provided along with blue tooth surround sound in the great room for use on tablets or phones. You will truly enjoy the lake views from this wonderful Tahoe vacation rental home's newly remodeled deck. There is an exterior Ring camera at the front entry.

Dollar Point recreation amenities: beach, pool, tennis courts, playground are not available to renters, unless rental stay is for 31 nights or more which will require a signed lease agreement, $5000 deposit and $50 processing fee.

All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans. Deck and BBQ may not be available during winter months.

  This cabin had it all. There were enough rooms for each couple to have their own bedroom. My older kids loved the pool table! The living space was great for playing games as a family. The kitchen was a bit small, but it had most everything we needed. We loved the large dining table and the counter so we could all sit and eat at the same time. Although the decor was a bit dated, the space was perfect. We had easy access with a door code. Plus, it was nice to have a garage to park our cars which was great, because a black bear wandered right onto our driveway! The deck was also a bonus! We spent one evening out on the deck just chatting. One warning, the hot water is really hot! Watch out in the showers especially if you are tall - the shower head is really low and the space is kind of small, but that is the only thing I wasn't happy with. The space is wonderful!

  I was happy. The place accommodated us nicely. And we were a diverse group. The group included 4 teens ages 19, 19, 17 and 14. It also included 2 Seniors ages77 and 75. In the evening we played games that all could play.

  What a great location! This home had everything we need for all of our cooking needs. Plenty of bedrooms for all 10 of us, we even had bedroom we never used. The home if very comfortable, which is what we were looking for having young children. Would stay here again.

  This cabin has a great location with partial views of Lake Tahoe. I have rented this cabin for many years for our summer vacation. The only takeaway is the HOA no longer allows access to the lake or pool.

  I have rented this Dollar Point Home for my family for over 10 years and we have always enjoyed it. I do find it very disturbing however that the HOA now charges a $10 per person daily use fee for the pool and beach for all renters over the age of 5. This fee significantly increases the cost to renters of Dollar Point homes. The HOA apparently initiated these new fees without any input from the Dollar Point property owners or O'Neal Associates.
