St. Francis Lakeside #05 - Krivan

This three bedroom two bath all one level, bottom floor unit has newly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, new furnishings, gas fireplace and nice deck. Lakefront development with swimming pool, beach, pier, tennis, large indoor spa, clubhouse, volleyball court, various picnic facilities and adjacent to public boat launch. Close to public parks, bike path, hiking, other beaches and Tahoe City with fine dining, shopping and entertainment. Central location with access to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Homewood ski resorts.

The indoor spa is open in the winter months - Closes 3/31/2024. The outdoor spa will open seasonally with the pool(Memorial Day 2024).

All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans.

  This is the 5th time we have rented this unit. As usual, we enjoyed our stay. I have three comments:
  
  1. The microwave stove ceased to work during our stay. It was built in 1993 and lasted a long while, but needs to bbe replaced.
  2. The outside light was not working.
  3. There was only one parking pass. This wasn't a problem this year, but in most holiday seasons pareking is a problem.

• The condo was in excellent condition and tastefully decorated, with brand new kitchen and bathrooms. Best stocked kitchen of any condo ever. Loved looking at the family photos--gave the place a warm & cozy feeling.

  Our only complaint: why were we charged the summer rates when both the pool and spa were closed and most of the units were vacant? Clearly, it's not summer any more. We brought bathing suits expecting to do laps in the pool. That part was a disappointment, but except for that our stay was delightful. Please extend our thanks to the lovely family who owns the very nice condo.
